Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning play a big role in our industry now. This session will define what we term “AI” and discuss what “science” and processing underpins this environment. Panelists will debate how it can assist in areas like enhancing data quality and ‘Know Your Customer’ applications. Other aspects addressed include Big Data and if and how this technology can derive meaning from so much unstructured information (e.g. research reports, news articles, blog posts, social media, etc.) currently available and consider whether AI can be an effective alert tool for behavior, risk and regulatory issues.
